 Djupivogur, Iceland

Djupivogur's claim to fame is 22 granite eggs and a funky little lighthouse.

Now imagine 1000 old people trudging 1/2 mile across an uneven peet bog to get to a lighthouse that looks like it belongs in "Its a Small World"(note the ladder used to get to the top.).

I was trying to find Kyle ahead of me and I tripped and fell down.  I fell downhill so I couldn't get up. Valentina and I were laughing so hard I really couldn't get up. So glad Valentina did not have a camera.

It was a lovely nature hike.

The birds just make a nest in the grasses then cover them and leave
.
This is one of the big hangouts in this small town. An old silo.

It makes for a great thunder chamber and a great place to sing or have a seance.

The museum/coffee shop.

On the ship we had a sock hop that night.
