Praia, Ill de Santiago, Cape Verde

It's Sunday so we went to church. The Praia Temple was on the same property as the meeting house. There were an extraordinary number of Young Men. We stayed for the second hour. They had an English Priesthood with Kyle, Craig and 3 other men who spoke English. One of the men is a guard at the prison and coaches soccer on the side. These boys wanted to join the soccer team, so the coach said "Okay, but you have to go to church." They are mostly just kids who live on the street and have no finacial support. So they came to church, studied the scriptures, got baptized and are now active young men. They work for donations to help with soccer shoes and stuff that they need. One of the Missionary sisters is from Lehi and she helped us gals in Relief Society.
