 Barcelona, Spain

Where to begin? It is a huge city, so it's the Barcelona Highlights for us. First stop, La Sagrade Familia, a basilica design by Antoni Gaudi in the late 19th century with construction beginning in 1882. 140 years later it is still not completed. They are hoping the tallest spire will be finished next year. It is devoted to the the holy family.

Across the street

Beautiful tree lined streets.

Apartment building designed by Gaudi

The city was packed with people.

Luxury Mansion designed by Gaudi

Another famous architect design this next door.

Next, Flamingo dancing
This village was built to commemorate the villages of olden days.

A guitar, singer, and a lovely dancer.   We had refreshments of chips crackers and sangria (which I did not know had alcohol). Just what we needed! Olay!!

And then there was Fabio!!

Wait.. aren't the beautiful young girl and Fabio supposed to dance together? Nope

Terrific little village wish we could have spent more time there.

The evening events were spectacular.  The Zeiderdam was also in port and that's 2 world cruises in the same port at one time.  So they parked us back to back and  threw a big party the corporate President and a couple of VPS showed up. There was aDJ on each ship and party hard everyone did.

Then the show began. 500 drones put on one spectacular event.

                                                        Oh the places we've seen!

                                        Sidney Opera House

                                                                    Easter Island

The drones all lined up at the end.

Well, if you must live in an apartment, at least get one with character! Love all the magnificent architecture you've seen on this trip!!!

I can't believe that cathedral to the family. I've never seen anything like it. It must have been breathtaking in person! What a city. Makes me wanna go to Barcelona!
