Crossing the Equator

The crew members who have never crossed the equator before are required to undergo the judgement of King Titan.  First they have to Kiss the Fish then they are slimed and brought before a judgement panel to have their punishment given out.

This is a true right of passage for the crew of other ocean vessels . One of the passengers told of his first crossing on a military ship. He said they put all the garbage from the week on the deck and the new  crew had to belly crawl through it to the other end of the ship.  He said it was so horridly smelly that he threw up 3 times. Thankfully it's only for the crew!
